Hyacinth Macaws Vase - Side one
The Hyacinth Macaw is the largest Macaw in the world.
The macaws on this vase were painted using resource photos I took at the "Parrots in Paradise" refuge in Kealakekua, Hawaii, on the Big Island.
Parrots in Paradise takes in refugee parrots that have been abused, abandoned or whose owners can no longer care for them. It is a daunting enterprise. If you would like to learn more about Parrots in Paradise, you can visit their web site at www.parrotsinparadise.com/.
